John “Jack” Wiltsie, 57, of Huntington, husband of Donna Murray-Wiltsie, died Feb. 19.
Son of the late Rollin and Madeline Galvin Wiltsie, he was born Aug. 18, 1954 in Bridgeport.
Mr. Wiltsie was the founder of JW Painting, a commercial and residential painting company, which has been in business for more than 30 years.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend who will be remembered and missed for his kindness, sense of humor and his devotion to his family and to the New York Yankees, his family said.
Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Brittni Addenbrooke and Kiara Wiltsie; brothers, Jim Wiltsie (Marcia) and Robert Wiltsie (Sandi), both of Stratford; two sisters, Judy Juarez Flores of California and June Beeman (Daniel) of Stratford; nieces and nephews, Devin, Adrienne, Jim, Jennifer, Jaime, Ricardo, Debbie, Joe and several great neices and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas “Michael” Wiltsie (survived by Sandie).
Services are Thursday, Feb. 23, 11 a.m., St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Huntington. Visiting hours, Wednesday, 4-7 p.m., Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Ave., Milford.
Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Kiara Wiltsie in care of Robert Wiltsie, 190 Second Avenue, Stratford, CT 06615.
