Rosale “Rose” Pauline Fiengo Donnarummo

Rosale “Rose” Pauline Fiengo Donnarummo, 92, of Shelton, wife of the late Michael Donnarummo, died Feb. 1, with her family by her side.


 

She was born Jan. 3, 1920 in Avella, Italy and was raised in Derby.

She was retired from Lombardi Engineering in Derby. She enjoyed crocheting and made many afghan blankets for her family and baby blankets as donations. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking, and watching classic films.

She is survived by her son, Vincent and his wife, Violet of Shelton; grandchildren, Gina Donnarummo of Shelton, and Michael V. Donnarummo of New York City; sister-in-law, Marie Donnarummo of Woodbridge; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was predeceased by several brothers and sisters throughout the region.

Visiting hours are Friday, Feb. 3, 4-7 p.m., The James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton. Services, Saturday, Feb. 4, 10:30 a.m., St. Joseph Church, Shelton. Burial follows in Mount Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Derby.
