Theodor Komar, 84, of Stratford, husband of the late Alice Komar, died Jan. 21. His daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Joseph Gorel live in Shelton.
He was born in Ukraine and was a member of the Ukrainian Society.
Mr. Komar was retired from Trio Industries where he had been employed for more than 30 years.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Joseph Gorel of Shelton; and two grandchildren, Matthew Gorel and his wife, Catheryn, of Seymour and Amy Gorel of Shelton.
Services are Saturday, Jan. 28, 9:15 a.m., Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St., Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bridgeport. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Visiting hours, Friday, 4-7 p.m.; Panakhyda service at 5.
