SCORE announces five new members

Greg Bivona, chair of the Bridgeport chapter of SCORE, introduced five new members at its January meeting.

Raymond Giovonni of Monroe is assistant vice president of the Monroe branch of the Union Savings Bank and was recently elected president of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce.


Tucker Mays of Westport spent the first half of his corporate career in marketing management positions with Chesebrough Ponds and Miles Laboratories. He then spent the second half turning around and selling sporting goods companies. The co-founder of OptiMarket in Darien, Mays has been providing career coaching for terminated executives for the last 10 years. Recently he co-authored the book, "Fired at 50."

BetteLynn Paez has an independent financial planning practice in Shelton. She helps individuals and businesses make smart decisions about their money. Her business background varies from computer chips (IBM Sales) to chocolate chips (bakery ownership) to blue chips (financial planning, investments and insurance).

Richard Santalesa is an attorney based in Fairfield and senior counsel at the InfoLaw Group. He is also a certified mentor who often works with entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Val Szondy of Shelton has been a Realtor with Re/Max in Westport for the past 15 years.
